“Gillespie” airs every Tuesday night at 9pm on From the Right Radio or FTRradio.com.  It’s a show devoted to politics, issues, and news of the day with a touch of humor.  And let’s be honest, politics needs a dose of humor every once in a while.  Guests include state and federal legislators, candidates for office, national pundits, authors and advocates from grassroots organizations.  It is also home to the satirical segment “Ask a RINO”.

 

Season Two

 
  • Episode 7 of Season 2 of Gillespie includes guests Congressman Todd Young, Mayor of Marion, Indiana and 5th Congressional District Candidate Wayne Seybold and a discussion of a possible brokered Republican convention with John Brodigan.
 
  • Episode 6 of Season 2 of Gillespie is our post CPAC show.  Our guests include U.S. Senate Candidate from Indiana, Richard Mourdock, Candidate for the 2nd Congressional Seat in Indiana Jackie Walorski, President of GenerationOpportunity.org Paul Conway and and interview Indiana State Representative Mike Speedy that was recorded before CPAC.

  • Episode 36 of Gillespie on FTRradio includes interview with Indiana State GOP Chairman Eric Holcomb and Indiana’s 9th District Congressman, Todd Young.
 
  • Episode 35 of Gillespie on FTRradio includes a conversation with John LaRosa of Four Tier Strategies.  Kristee Kelley and I talk with him about New Media and the role it will play in the 2012 election cycle (read; huge!).  I also speak with Amelia Hamilton (aka Gadsdenista on Twitter) of Fountainhead Communications.  We talk about her role with the Tea Party in Colorado and her upcoming book.
 
  • On Episode 34 of Gillespie on FTRradio, Elizabeth Blackney returns for a special “Ask a RINO” segment.  We talk about the War in Libya and possible presidential candidates.  Also, I speak with Nick Barbknecht, the Indiana Chairman of the “Students for Mitch” initiative.
 
  • Episode 33 of Gillespie on FTRradio.com Mark Warner and I talk with Elizabeth Blackney about her work with human rights in Africa. Also Kristee Kelley and I talk about Charlie Sheen. Is he crazy or crazy like a fox?
 
  • Episode 32 of “Gillespie” on FTRradio.com features interviews with Indiana State Representative and Majority Whip in the Indiana House, David Frizell and Congressman Todd Rokita from Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District.  Rep.Frizzell updates my listeners to what the House Democrats might be up to as they are hiding out in Urbana, Illinois and how the the House Republicans plan to proceed.  Congressman Rokita talks about the Continuing Resolution (CR) to prevent the Federal government from shutting down and about his experiences as a freshman in Congress so far.  All of that, plus I have my monologue where I cover Governor Mitch Daniels handing of the State House Democrats walk out.
 
  • Episode 31 of “Gillespie” on FTRradio.com continues the CPAC Recap.  But first, in my monologue, I discuss the unrest with the unions in Wisconsin and compare the situation to when a newbie Republican Governor named Mitch Daniels took over in Indiana.  From there, Ashley Sewell (the TxTrendy Chick) and I tag team to interview Vikrant Reddy of RightOnCrime.com.  And Mark Warner sneaks in a couple of interviews.  One with Iowa Congressman Steve King and then with Chris Barron of GOProud.
 
  • Episode 30 of “Gillespie” on FTRradio.com is a CPAC Recap show.  I talk with Glen Asbury about his experience at CPAC and get his perspective on the “presidential” speakers.  I also speak with Indiana’s State Treasurer Richard Mourdock who, at the time, was rumored to seeking to run against Senator Richard Lugar in next years GOP Senate primary (it’s not really a rumor any more).  I wrap it up by talking with Michael Knowles of “Students for Daniels” a college based grassroots movement to enlist Governor Mitch Daniels to run for President.
 
  • Episode 29 of “Gillespie” on FTRradio.com includes further discussion on Governor Mitch Daniels’ “truce” (hey, guess what people, he’s extremely pro-life…AND his record as governor proves it), plust I’ll be talking Kristee Kellee about social media and politics, plus a special pre-CPAC edition of “Ask a RINO” with Dina Fraioli, John Brodigan and (a newcomer) Nick Barbknecht.
